Opening of Tierra del Fuego

08/20/2019. New York. Catalan actress takes the stage in Tierra del Fuego by Mario Diament. Inspired by real life events, the plays tells the story of an Israeli ex-flight attendant who lost her best friend and was injured in a terrorist attack. Twenty-two years later, she decides to meet the man who authored the attack, who has been detained to life in a London prison. Opening night August 23rd @ 7:30pm at Julia de Burgos Performance and Arts Center.

Stage Reading of Rilkowk

Maria will participate at the stage reading of the play Rilkowk by Antonio Cesar Moron and directed by Mario Colon on June 13th at IATI Theater @8pm. The reading is part of Cimientos2019 spotlights a curation of national and cross-continental contemporary writers.  This June 2019, IATI Theater will present a curation of 10 play readings that fuel the genesis of theater: the playwright.

Maria in the Uta Hagen's Centennial Year Committee

02/04/2019. New York. Maria is invited to participate in the Uta Hagen’s Centennial Year Committee. To mark this important milestone, the Committee will produce Actress + Activist: Uta Hagen at 100, an ambitious series of programs, classes, and events focusing on Uta and her work. Centennial activities will take place at HB’s home on Bank Street, as well as throughout New York city culminating in a Gala Tribute in June 2019.
